Reasons to (try to) like Scotland #1
Rhododendron Flowers - Botanic Gardens Edinburgh
I’m trying, I am really trying (and to my family and friends - no that wasn’t what I meant at all and with birthdays and wedding anniversaries coming up, the words “we know” are not a response guarenteed to get you a card, let alone a present) No, I’m trying to like Scotland. I’m finding it bloody difficult but I’m sure it can’t all be bad. There are some lovely people here. I know at least 3 (obviously the-blogger-formerly-known-as-mint-tea is on that list) and the law of averages suggest that there must be more.
I could go into detail about what it is about Scotland I’m starting to dislike so intensely but if I thought too hard about it then I’d get suicidely depressed and I really can’t be bothered to be unhappy. Instead, F and I are going in search of another reason to like the place -when I find something I’ll let you know.
